A New Strength

I was motivated to write this song for a friend in the marines when I'd heard that he would soon be deployed to Iraq. An exercise in power through music.
God give me what I need,
To proceed into my destiny,
Make my skin of stone, make my bones of steel,
Make my enemies run at the site of my power,
Let them all cower,
This is the strength I'll need to make them flee,
With this I'm a one-man army...
And not even hell can stop me!

***No one can take me!
God give my brothers the same,
So they can watch my back,
If I'm attacked, I won't have to stop and pray,
I know they'll be there for me all the way,
We'll be impenetrable,
We'll be invulnerable,
We'll be completely unstoppable
And we will conquer all!
